As many of my devoted fans out there are aware, I’ve written many songs. Many. Many great songs. I mean, so good that MOST people simply don’t understand them. They’re, well, lets just say humbly that I’m way ahead of my time. WAY AHEAD!
As you know out there, or should I say down there, that my songs are always written in the traditional way. That’s to say with Bass, guitar & of course my fine voice quivering lightly over it as a morning mist would contemplate the ground it has risen out of. Basically, only real instruments can convey the true emotional nuances that my music endeavours – nay – expounds.
So it might come as a surprise to you that this track is entirely synthetic. Synthesisers, Synthesizers & more synthesisers. Why you may ask, did I write this one off track? Let me tell you the story of DMT…
I wrote DMT, (an acronym for Deep Mandala Trance) after having a very VERY heavy experience dealing with a drug sharing the acronym of DMT. (Dimethyl Tryptamine).
This drug was in fact a magical experience, no, a communication, a meeting with aliens. No really! It changed my life! Without going into the details, a puff of this stuff got me consorting with aliens that were filling my mind with NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION. Scary!!
Needless to say, this profoundly important non verbal communication could not be communicated to anybody because it was, umm, non verbal. But I needed to tell someone, anybody that would listen. So in an attempt to communicate its alien message, I wrote this song with the only technology that could convey its meaning. Synths. Despite it being nowhere near the technological advance that these aliens wrested their beings on, it had to do. This is what they communicated to me, to pass on to you. So without further ado, here is DMT by Aalien Mind Garden. Fit on the headphones, turn UP the volume, turn off the lights & understand that we are not alone… |
