Well, there have been a few updates since this site went live, but most didn't affect anybody. Just some behind the scenes stuff.

Anyway, I know a lot of folks are hitting up YouTube lately (including me), so I added a way to add YouTube videos to your posts.

It's real simple:

When you make a post, you know where the BBCode buttons are to add Bold, or underlined text, right? There's a new button on the far right called: YouTube

When you see a YouTube video you like, just copy the URL (for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE5-EORgjno) from the box and drop it in your post with the new YouTube tags. Should look something like this:

If anyone tried to access the forum, and it was down, I apologize. I was in the middle of adding some cool new features when my computer bit the dust. bash screen

It's a piece of crap, and died on me last year too. But that's another story. Anyway, it looks like everything's up and running again. But let me know if you find any glitches.

As you may have noticed, there's now a news section which is updated daily. If you're hurtin' for a Voice topic you can hit up this section for some new ideas! You can comment on the news stories too. I'm pulling Japan-related news feeds from the BBC, Mainichi, and Wai Wai (great for some off-the-wall news stories). If there's a site you prefer for news in Japan, let me know, cause I'll probably be adding other feeds in the future.

Also, as you can see on the index page, I added a section at the top which will display the last 20 active topics. This was poop chute's suggestion, and I think it's a good idea. You can just scroll through and jump to any recent topic from there.
